Ingredients


G.A.P. Step 1 Pork 

Pork is a great source of protein and healthy fats. Our pork is raised on farms with space to roam, and the ability to engage in their natural behaviors. Breeding pigs are NOT kept in gestation stalls or farrowing crates. They are raised without antibiotics, fed a vegetarian diet, and are certified to Global Animal Partnership’s (G.A.P.) animal welfare standard.


Oats

Oats are an excellent source of protein, fiber, and a natural source of iron and B vitamins. Our oats are non-GMO.


Whitefish Meal

Whitefish is a great source of protein and omega-3 fatty acids. Fish meal, fish with the water removed, is a concentrated source of amino acids needed for healthy muscles. There are many species of whitefish available. We source  based on seasonal availability. Our whitefish meal is sustainable, wild-caught, and recommended by Ocean Wise.


Millet

Millet is high in fiber and protein. It is a good source of magnesium, phosphorus, and calcium, an important macronutrient for dogs. Our millet is non-GMO.


Brown Rice

Brown rice is known to be high in fiber while supplying natural manganese and magnesium. Our brown rice is non-GMO.


Coconut Oil

Coconut oil contains medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), it is an excellent palatant and is high in lauric acid. Coconut oil can be preserved with mixed tocopherols.


Herring Meal

Herring Meal contains high amounts of protein and omega-3, specifically DHA and EPA. The meal version of herring is the fish with the water removed. Our herring meal is sustainable, wild-caught, and recommended by Ocean Wise.


Quinoa

Quinoa has high levels of protein and is rich in essential nutrients and minerals such as magnesium, phosphate, iron, calcium, potassium, and fiber. It also contains monounsaturated fats. Our quinoa is non-GMO.


Pumpkin

Pumpkin is a good source of vitamins A and C, minerals like potassium, antioxidants, fiber and beta-carotene. Our pumpkin in non-GMO.


Natural Flavor (yeast)

Natural flavor is a natural ingredient derived from non-GMO yeast.


Carrots

Carrots are a good source of vitamin A from beta-carotene, bitamin B6, biotin, and fiber. Our carrots are non-GMO.


Apples

Apples are a good source of potassium, vitamin C and fiber. They also contain antioxidants including phytochemicals. Our apples are non-GMO.

Dried Chicory Root

Chicory root is a natural source of insoluble fiber, and inulin, a soluble fiber which serves as a prebiotic, feeding the gut bacteria to support gastrointestinal health. Our chicory root is non-GMO.


Choline Chloride

Choline chloride is important for the overall support of maintaining a healthy metabolism. It is needed to maintain optimal pet health.
